My interest in photography developed in childhood out of my love for the natural world, and later from my work as a marine biologist.
In the late 1970’s, I began a study of Tai Chi Chuan in London , England, which has continued to this day. To support this study I began to work as a photographer in the busy fashion and music businesses, until my immigration to Canada in 1991.
Since living in Canada I have returned to the natural world with my photography, and have particular delight and interest in close ups, textures and anything that has more than the surface layer as a natural art, within its make up.
The viewer is invited to pause and contemplate, reflecting on the mirror which nature offers us. |
